It's a Boy!

It's a boy! Bubba and Joy found out today. They're giving me another nephew. I'm so excited . . . I was secretly hoping for another nephew! ;)

Dominican Republic, January 2007

Well, it's taken quite awhile; but I'm finally getting around to posting updates and pictures from my life's latest happenings. Lol. Late January, I took a four-day vacation to Dominican Republic. Interesting place. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was a nice vacation. Last week of January. It was 20 degrees here in Atlanta. Meanwhile, mom, dad, Angie, and I were enjoying the sunshine and warm weather lying out on the beach and swimming. It was quite wonderful! :) I've posted a few pictures. And, yes, that's a real monkey on her head!

Happy 17th Birthday, Luke!

I can't believe my baby brother is 17! I remember the day he was born . . . Lol. Happy Birthday, Bear. (Ok, so I'm a little late. Forgive me, please?!)

Disney World 2007

There's just something magical in the air at Disney! Lol. In February, I was in Orlando for the International Builders' Show - GREAT show, by the way. Since my friend (and roommate) Angie didn't have to work that week, she drove down with me. I was able to set my class schedule so that we were able to visit Magic Kingdom one afternoon. Picture w/ Mickey, riding the Mad Teacups and It's a Small World (my absolute favorite! **sigh**) . . . we were like children. It was great! Loved visiting Mickey's house! Cool mailbox, huh? Think I may get one in the image of my face. Ok, no, I won't. I just don't think it would have the same affect . . . Oh! Remember the Mad Teacups?! Please tell me you remember the Mad Teacups! It was the first ride we rode . . . we laughed as we thought and talked about all our childhood memories at Disney . . . **sigh** I'll have to get the pictures at Cinderella's Castle and in Small World (I LOVE that ride!) from Angie. Whenever I get around to it, I'll post. You can't miss Cinderella's Castle or Small World. That's like missing Mickey Mouse!
